Tehran to Host 8th Asia Nano Forum Tomorrow

Tehran, Iran | Posted on October 8th, 2011

During the meeting, lecturers from the member countries will address the participants to outline the details of their countries' past activities, current status and future plans.

At the forum, Dr. Saeid Sarkar, the secretary-general of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC), is due to address the participants about Iran's visions for progress in nanotechnology within the Asian continent.

The representatives will pay a visit to the 4th Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition (Iran Nano 2011) to become more acquainted with Iran's potentials in Nanotech-related fields on October 8.

The Asia Nano Forum (ANF) was founded in May 2004 to promote excellence in research, development and the economic uptake of nanotechnology within the Asian region. This collaborative network seeks to benefit its members educationally, socially, environmentally and economically by fostering collaboration and acting as a center for regional and global nanotechnology issues.

ANF Network is supported by 15 economies in the Asia Pacific Region, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam.
