Abstract:
The Secretariat of the Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition announced that approximately 150 firms from governmental and private sectors will participate in the festival and exhibition. 
The companies are due to display their achievements in the field of nanotechnology by taking part in the Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition in an area of 3,000 square meters.
According to the Secretariat, the participants in the exhibition section of the festival include 21 promotional-educational centers such as educational companies, societies, and scientific publications, 34 scientific and research centers, including universities and science and technology parks, 15 laboratories, and 71 manufacturing and commercial companies active in the fields of automobile, agriculture and packaging, textile, nanomaterials, water and environment, building, petroleum and the related industries as well as laboratory equipment.
Moreover, six foreign countries from Russia, the Republic of Korea, the United States and Malaysia have so far announced their willingness to take part in the International section of the Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival.
Similar to the previous festivals, various sections such as public education, scientific and educational nanotechnology shop, and nanohouse have been programmed for the Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival in order to introduce nanotechnology and its applications to the public. Also 11 educational workshops and seminars are scheduled to be held parallel to the Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival.
The Fourth International Nanotechnology Festival will be held in the Persian Gulf Hall of Tehran Permanent International Fairground from October 5 to9, 2011 and simultaneous with the Eighth Asia Nano Forum.
