Abstract:
Sharif University of Technology is scheduled to hold the 4th International Conference on Nanostructures (ICNS4) at its international college on Kish Island from March 12 to 14, 2012 in a move to create interaction between the Iranian researchers and experts and their foreign colleagues.

Providing an appropriate opportunity for introducing the latest achievements in the field of nanostructures and strengthening cooperation between the Iranian and foreign researchers in the field of nanotechnology are among the objectives of the conference.

The scopes of the conference are as follows:
o Synthesis and identification of nanostructured materials;
o Carbon nanostructures;
o Magnetic properties of nanostructures;
o Mechanic of nanostructures;
o Applications of nanostructures;
o Theory, modeling, and computational methods.

Moreover, lecturers from the countries Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the United States, Australia, and Canada will deliver speeches in this conference. Dr. Hashem Rafi'ee Tabar, a member of the scientific board of Medicine School of Martyr Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Dr. A'zam Irajizad, a member of Institute for Nanosciences and Nanotechnology of Sharif University of Technology, are slated to deliver lectures from Iran.

Researchers who are active in the related fields are required to submit their papers to the secretariat of the conference by October 15, 2011.
