Abstract:

PI electro-mechanical Hexapods and Piezo Hexapods are compact and very precise multi-axis positioning systems, providing significantly higher accuracy and resolution than hydraulically driven positioners. The miniature Hexapods find use in many high-tech fields: medical engineering, X-ray microscopy, photonics alignment, semiconductor test & metrology, astronomy, precision machining, aeronautics, high-energy physics, etc.

PI’s miniature M-810 and M-811 hexapod 6-Axis positioners can now be controlled by an Apple iPad.
