Abstract:
Imec, Katholieke Universiteit (KU Leuven), CEA-Leti, and the University of Liege will hold the 7th International Conference on Silicon Epitaxy and Heterostructures (ICSI) in Leuven, Belgium, from Monday, August 29th to Thursday, September 1st, 2011. On Friday, September 2nd, Imec will hold a workshop on GeSn with KU Leuven and University of Nagoya, Japan.
About the Conference
The ICSI-7 forum is a biannual event that reviews and examines novel developments in physics and device technologies for silicon (Si) epitaxy, heterostructures and nanostructures.
Monday's session offers two keynotes:
·         "Novel Growth-techniques of SiGe-based Hetero-structures for Post-scaling Devices", Masanobu Miyao, Taizoh Sadoh, Kohei Hamaya, Kyushu University, Japan;
Conference Venue:
Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Naamsestraat 22, 3000, Leuven, Beglium
· "Germanium and III-V for Beyond-Si CMOS: channel materials and gate stacks", presented by Matty Caymax, IMEC, Belgium
