Abstract:
Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), an emerging global leader in nanoscience energy saving solutions, announced today that they have received a second order from PT. Kraft Indonesia for their patented energy saving and insulation coating, Nansulate® Translucent GP. They had previously used the coating for baking oven insulation to lower energy consumption, reduce surface temperature and improve the temperature in the working environment. Nansulate® Translucent GP is NSF Registered (#138638) as acceptable for use on surfaces with the possibility of incidental food contact.

"Nansulate® coating technology offers unique solutions to the food manufacturing industry," stated Francesca Crolley, V.P. of Business Development for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "The application with Kraft Indonesia's Cikarang Plant is a perfect example of solutions the coatings offer for energy savings and personnel protection that haven't been available before. Our NSF Registered GP coating is safe for incidental food contact surfaces and, unlike traditional insulations, it is not subject to infiltration by moisture, mold or dust, making it a perfect insulation for the food and beverage industry. The application in Indonesia was typical of those we see with large ovens which can't be insulated with traditional materials. Not only are they high energy users, the large surface area expels heat into the environment which affects worker health and safety. Nansulate® solves these issues by reducing the heat transfer, lowering surface temperature and reducing the heat emitted into the environment. It offers a smart sustainable solution not only for energy savings, but also workplace safety. This is our second order from Kraft Foods in Indonesia and we look forward to assisting them with more projects in the future."

NSF International launched its voluntary Nonfood Compounds Registration Program in 1999 to re-introduce the previous authorization program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Products eligible for NSF Registration include all compounds used in and around food establishments (nonfood compounds). NSF Registration assures inspection officials and end users that formulation and labels meet appropriate food safety regulations.
