Abstract:
nanoTox Inc. and AssuredNano Limited announce today that they have concluded an agreement which will lead to a merger of the two companies creating a global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Standard for engineered nanomaterials. The integration of these two well established brands will provide global coverage for all issues relating to the occupational hygiene and toxicology of nanomaterials and nano-enabled products.
The combined operation will stimulate enhanced trade in nano-enabled products and enable multi-national companies to operate to the same comprehensive EHS scheme worldwide.
Dr. Keith Robson, CEO of AssuredNano®, commented: "AssuredNano® is the only nano-material EHS Accreditation Programme which covers all facets of a business' operations and is annually audited for compliance and continuous improvement. It has been developed by industry professionals and the world renowned Institute of Occupational Medicine to provide assurance to all stakeholders that industry is committed to responsible care throughout the lifecycle of nano-enabled products."
Mr Harry Bushong, President of nanoTox® stated: "nanoTox® is currently the world's premier provider of nanomaterial toxicology expertise. Going forward, the services offering of the combined businesses will comprehensively address, for the first time, all issues relating to the toxicology and EHS of engineered nanomaterials within a single organisation with truly global outreach."
