Professor Gholam Ali Mansouri, a Lecturer of Illinois University in the US, is due to deliver a speech in a seminar in Iran entitled 'Nanotechnology, a Window to Future' on May 31.

Pouya Nanopowder Research Group in association with Naraq Branch of Islamic Azad University will hold the seminar in Allameh Naraqi Conference Hall in Technical Faculty of Naraq Branch of Islamic Azad University on May, 31, 2011.

The main lecturer of the seminar is Prof. Mansouri. According to the Secretariat of the Seminar, Prof. Mansouri will deliver a speech about nanotechnology in a simple language and its applications in various sciences.

Prof. Mansouri has a PhD in chemical engineering, and he is the supervisor of Thermodynamics Research Laboratory in Illinois University, the United States.

He possessed the title "top Iranian nanotechnology researcher living abroad" in the festival of Top Nanotechnology Researchers in 2008. Among the publications of Dr. Mansouri, mention can be made of the publication of two books in the field of nanotechnology entitled "NanoBioTechnology" and "Principles of Atomic and Molecular Nanotechnology", and the publication of about 45 research and ISI papers.

The purpose of the seminar is to interact and cooperate with the Iranian well-known university lecturers and students active in the field of nanotechnology, and to introduce the latest applications of nanotechnology in various sciences.
