Abstract:
The 14th annual Zoomark International pet products show will be the forum for Dog Gone Smart www.doggonesmartpetproducts.com, a global pet products company dedicated to natural pet safety and health through nanotechnology, to debut its extensive new line of products. From its stylish new Aspen parka and appealing new line of NanoSuede beds, collars and leashes, to its unique lounger bed and classic horse sheets and saddle pads, Dog Gone Smart will continue to attract pet owners globally with its remarkable nanotechnology-based products.
"Zoomark has always been one of the most effective showcases for our pet products and we are confident this year could be one of our best yet," said Dog Gone Smart founder, Chris Onthank. More than 600 exhibitors from 35 countries will be represented.
In the U.S. alone, pet ownership is at an all-time high of 72.9 million households — up 2.1 percent in just one year, and spending on pets is predicted to top $50 billion this year according to the American Pet Products Association.
In the first quarter of 2011, Dog Gone Smart has received prestigious global honors for its nanotechnology-based pet products from America's vet, Dr. Marty Becker, as part of his 'Top Ten Picks' at this year's Global Pet EXPO. Global PETS Forum also chose Dog Gone Smart as one of the top four pet products companies of the year in Barcelona.
Dog Gone Smart™ nanotechnology is PFOA- and PFOS-free of known carcinogens and are "bluesign® approved," the world's strictest EHS (environment, health and safety) stipulations for textiles. The nanotechnology is impregnated into the fabric without altering its texture and feel, and produces a non-visible structured textile surface that coat oil, dirt, and liquids cannot stick to. Residue can be rinsed off with water or machine washed. The fabric stands up to frequent washing and is highly abrasion resistant. These pet products also incorporate non-silver-based bacteriostatic, a proprietary technology that inhibits the spread of bacteria that can cause 'doggy' odor.
The stylish new Aspen Parka sports a wind- and waterproof outer shell and nanotechnology-treated fleece lining on the inside, a faux fur collar, reflective trim, protective chest and abdominal piece, polyfill insulation, adjustable elastic waist, neck with zipper closure, and dual buckle fasteners at the back for easy fit. Jacket sizes range from 8" to 26" and are available in Scarlet (red), Fern (olive), Marine (blue), and Black and are MSRP priced from $39.90 to $99.90.
The smart and stylish new line of NanoSuede collars, leashes and harnesses come in three styles Basic and Fashion. Each style includes collars, 4-6 ft. leashes, 80" European leashes, and 40" traffic leashes and harnesses. The Basic style product colors include Royal Blue, Brown, Graphite, Black, Red and Plum in sizes: 5/8", 3/4", 1". The Fashion style colors include Lavender, Dark Lavender, Purple, Light Rose, Fuchsia in sizes- 5/8", 3/4", 1".
The NanoSuede Rectangle pet beds, made from 100% soft suede, are available in Graphite/Red piping Plum/Graphite piping, and Red/Graphite piping. The bed is available in M, L and XL sizes (26x34, 30x40, 36x48).
The comfy Lounger bed is 100% cotton machine washable canvas with an inside pillow for added comfort. Bed sizes range from extra small to extra large and are available in Navy, Brown, Khaki, Olive and Red. MSRP prices range from $60.38 to $151.60.
Dog Gone Smart™ Horse Wear apparel will also be introduced, featuring state-of-the-art saddle pads in Tan, Navy, Black, and White, priced at MSRP $65, and horse sheets in sizes ranging from 72" to 84" in Hunter Green, Navy, and Tan, priced from MSRP $100. Dog Gone Smart™ technology's advanced moisture management finish combines two technologies in one product. The outside is finished with a stain, dirt and liquid repellent, while the inside absorbs perspiration, preventing chills and overheating.
