Abstract:
The international congress running alongside the ACHEMA 2012 exhibition will feature 900 lectures focused on state-of-the-art developments and the event's organizers are inviting contributors to submit applications to qualify to make lecture presentations at the event. The leading international meeting point for decision-makers and experts, ACHEMA 2012 focuses on a broad spectrum of process and chemical engineering industries and related technologies.
ACHEMA 2012, which takes place at Frankfurt Messe exhibition in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 18 to 22 June 2012, will once again be running the highly popular lecture programme that is expected to feature about 27,000 participants. The Conference is a key attraction to the international event that also comprises 140 000 m² of exhibition space featuring 4000 global exhibitors from more than 90 countries and welcomes 175,000 participants including 30,000 executives from top and middle management.
The 30th ACHEMA, which provides a snapshot of topical trends for global process technology, will also host panel discussions, expert round tables and plenary lectures plus numerous special and guest events.
Each lecture presentation is scheduled to take 20 minutes to complete and the Congress language is English. Abstracts of all accepted contributions will be available in advance of the Conference on the Internet.
Congress registrations in the form of a one-page abstract (maximum 200 kB) can be submitted at the following URL: http://www.achema.de/congress
The deadline for submitting contributions is 31 August 2011.
For further information send an e-mail to or telephone +49/(0)69/7564-254.

About DECHEMA (The German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology)
ACHEMA 2012’s organiser DECHEMA (The German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology) is once again predicting a significant influx of visitors from China, India and South Korea including a number of government delegations.
The previous ACHEMA event saw a rise of 30 percent in visitor numbers from outside Germany. There was also a 20 percent increase in non-German exhibitors. The number of Asian companies exhibiting saw a 100 percent increase.
The Laboratory and Analytical Techniques section of ACHEMA 2012 is expected to draw 40 000 visitors alone thereby making it the largest single laboratory industry event worldwide. The section will feature about 840 exhibitors with a further 520 companies focused on Instrumentation, Control and Automation technologies.
