Home > Press > Appropriate Strategy Proposed for Activities in Nanocomposite Production
Abstract:
Researchers at Iran's Islamic Azad University managed to formulate a comprehensive strategy for more effective activity of nanocomposites used by Iranian companies.
Executive managers' ignorance/lack of knowledge about developing technology strategies is an issue of matter in technology management throughout the world. Nano science and technology, being still in their infancy, require more applied managerial studies accordingly.
"A potent management of nanotechnology enables the country to identify its potentials and the benefits in this regard. To achieve that, the presence of a correct technology strategy set based on industrial/economic atmosphere of the country seems necessary," Mahdieh Farazkish, member of the research group, told INIC.
Farazkish conducted a detailed literature research and selected an appropriate model, initially. Afterwards, she chose moderating parameters in accordance with the sample conditions, made some modifications to the basic moderating agents and proposed a comparative model finally.
Subsequently, the proposed model was illustrated with a more familiar industrial model (Nanofiltration in technology strategy formulation).
Farazkish underlined that the close interaction established among the nanotech-involved companies during the research was very helpful in getting a realistic picture of opportunities, potentials, shortcomings, drawbacks, etc. and prescribing an efficient solution mechanism.
She reiterated that the adoption of such strategic plan can be very beneficial and may prevent decisive errors.
