TCTech Awarded “Gazelle” Status by Leading Nordic Business Daily

Stockholm, Sweden | Posted on December 20th, 2010

The leading Nordic Business daily Dagens Industri has awarded TCTech "Gazelle" status as one of Sweden's fastest growing companies in Sweden. Fewer than 0.5% of Sweden's companies meet the requirements to be named Gazelle companies. The basic criterias for Gazelle companies are increases in sales every year for at least three years in a row, organically, while remaining profitable and with sound finances.

According to DI, a Gazelle company must meet at least all of the following criteria:

• Its sales must have increased continually for the past three years
• For this same period, it must have at least doubled its overall sales
• Its total operating results for the past four financial years must be positive
• It must have essentially grown organically, not through acquisitions and mergers
• It must have sound finances

Dagens Industri has produced the list of the country's fastest-growing "Gazelle" companies since 2000 in an effort to promote job creation, economic wealth, growth, entrepreneurship and to inspire role models.

TCT1000 Recently Launched

TCTech recently launched the TCP1000 system, a hot embossing production cell utilising TCTech's innovative and patented thermal cyclic pressing technology. The TCP1000 has been designed to meet the demand of fabrication of thin large-area light guide plates (LGPs), as well as optical lenses, such as Fresnel lenses, and lens arrays.

The system enables embossing of lenses in sizes up to 890x500 mm, or 40", with an area to thickness aspect ratio of up to 1:1000. The system can be equipped with an automated substrate handling system, giving a total cycle-time of less than 3 minutes.
