John Collins, Ph.D, Founder of VeruTEK(R) Technologies, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Dan Socci as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment was unanimously supported by the VeruTEK Board of Directors.

"Since stepping into the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in May 2010, Dan has impressed stakeholders both inside and outside the company," said Collins. "Dan understands the global green technology opportunities available to VeruTEK that extend beyond our principle business of remediation. VeruTEK's core competencies in green chemistry fit a growing need for sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions that could dramatically reduce use of toxic chemicals and compounds."

Socci will lead VeruTEK's continued expansion and evolution as the company capitalizes on its ongoing research and development effort in green technologies. He will focus on optimizing customer satisfaction, operational performance, external and internal stakeholder relationships and increasing shareholder value.

Prior to joining VeruTEK Socci was a Vice President in General Management and Marketing and Sales roles with worldwide responsibility during his career with Hewlett Packard.
