Professor Harold Kroto, who was awarded a Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1996, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society, is to give a lecture today in the Physics department. 
His lecture, which is to be titled ‘Architecture in Nanospace', will be focusing on the self assembly of molecular and atomic structures from the nanoscale.
Koto will explore the development of nanoscale devices and their future possible application in everything from civil engineering, to tiny supercomputers.
