NanoSonic celebrates new location in Giles County
Abstract:
NanoSonic Inc., which got its start 12 years ago in Blacksburg as a spinoff from Virginia Tech's College of Science and Engineering, has moved into a new 30,000-square-foot, facility in Giles County. In fact, the company, which specializes in the development and use of advanced materials and nanotechnology, is the first tenant in Wheatland EcoPark, a new 130-acre business park off U.S. 460 developed by the county's Industrial Development Authority.
