Abstract:
Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, honored SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc. (SWeNT), the world leader in high quality, Single-Wall and Specialty Multi-Wall carbon nanotubes (CNT) at the 2010 Excellence in Industrial Technologies Awards.
Southwest Nanotechnologies CEO Dave Arthur (left) received the prestigious Award for Innovation in Carbon Nanotubes at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio Award Banquet on April 29. Presenting the Award is Art Robbins, president, North America, Frost & Sullivan. SWeNT received the F&S Innovation Award in the field of Carbon Nanotubes, for product developments based on its CoMoCAT® nanotube production process. This patented technology, combined with innovative CNT ink technologies under development at SWeNT, is being used to harness the exceptional electrical, optical and mechanical properties of CNTs in Printed Electronics, Energy and Composites applications.
The CoMoCAT® process is highly scalable without compromising quality, assuring availability, affordability and consistency of SWeNT® CNT products to enable the next generation of disruptive technologies.
