Adept to Present Innovative Solar Automation Technologies at China's Most Comprehensive Photovoltaic Event Focused on Global Partnerships
Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP), a leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced it will be presenting its innovative robotics and software solutions at the SOLARCON China 2010 show in Shanghai China, March 16-18, 2010. The event is expected to draw 40,000 qualified industry professionals, where the US Department of Commerce is coordinating and actively promoting a seminar showcasing automation technologies and solutions available from Adept and industry partners located in China, Taiwan, and Korea.

The seminar, entitled "Automation for Crystalline Silicon Solar Manufacturing" will be held within the SOLARCON China 2010 show on March 17th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in hall W4, meeting room W4-M6. The following organizations will present on the latest automation technologies and benefits for crystalline silicon solar manufacturing:

The seminar will focus on how technologies such as parallel linked robots, the latest in vision processing and innovative line management can be combined to obtain yields unavailable through manual or conventional methods of cell handling. It is expected that over forty major wafer and cell manufacturers from China, Taiwan and other Asia countries will be represented at this event.
The SOLARCON China 2010 event takes place on March 16-18, 2010 in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the China solar photovoltaic industry's most comprehensive event, SOLARCON China 2010 showcases the complete PV industry supply chain, from materials and equipment, to solar cells, modules, systems and installation for both commercial and consumer applications.
