Home > Press > Envoy: Grounds Ready for Iran-Russia Cooperation on Technology
Abstract:
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Seyed Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi announced on Monday that the required grounds have been prepared for Iran-Russia cooperation in different technological fields.
"Russia is a powerful country in technology and we have activities with the country and we are following the issue like the past," Sajjadi told FNA.
"The grounds have been prepared for cooperation between Iran and Russia in science and technology as Russia does not have the political sensitivities felt by the West about us," Sajjadi added.
The ambassador pointed to an exhibition on nanotechnology recently held in Moscow, and noted, "Iran, too, participated in the exhibition and showcased and introduced 27 technologies."
He further said that no agreements were signed during the nanotechnology exhibition in Moscow, but added, "Good negotiations were held and we hope the negotiations will yield good results."
