Abstract:
Russian company NT-MDT has received a prestigious R&D 100 Award!
Fully automated SPM SOLVER NEXT has been selected by independent experts of R&D Magazine as the 2009 R&D 100 Award winner. This award recognizes the 100 most technologically significant products introduced into the marketplace over the past year.
Since 1963, the R&D 100 Awards have identified revolutionary technologies newly introduced to the market. These include the flashcube (1965), the halogen lamp (1974), the fax machine (1975), the liquid crystal display (1980), the printer (1986), and HDTV (1998).
"The R&D 100 Awards honor the latest technology developments that are designed to meet societal, scientific, or business challenges facing us today—and tomorrow," said Rita Peters, editorial director of R&D Magazine.

The winning of the R&D 100 Award provides a mark of excellence known to industry, government, and academia as proof that the product is one of the most innovative ideas of the year. It should be noted NT-MDT received two R&D 100 awards: for SOLVER NEXT and for nanolaboratory NTEGRA Spectra (2006 R&D 100 Award).
