Abstract:
SabryCorp submitted a report to the UK Parliament offering evidence on the prospect of nanotechnology to address the challenges of world hunger. They conclude that nanotechnology allows for more efficient, smart farming with solutions that optimize water resources, provide safer pest control, monitor crops and improve agricultural productivity.

Groups in these areas, the report concludes, should be encouraged with incentives from the UK government to work with partners in developing countries on the development and implementation of these technologies as a way to meet the needs of the world's poor.
