Senate subcommittee approves $500,000 for NanoCollege
Abstract:
The U.S. Senate's Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Industries has approved $500,000 for the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.
The money, if ultimately approved for the fiscal year 2010 appropriations bill, would go toward the college's efforts to develop new nanoscale fabrication and measurement stratgies. The subcommittee is part of the Appropriations Committee that approves federal spending.
