Abstract:
Anatoly Chubais, RUSNANO CEO, will take part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, June 4-6.
RUSNANO CEO will attend several sessions and have a number of working meetings with CEOs of Russian and foreign hi-tech companies, and international business representatives. During the Forum, RUSNANO will also sign several agreements, including those with RENOVA Group, MICEX Group, OJSC Republican Investment Company (Republic of Sakha).
June 4, RUSNANO and RENOVA Group will sign an investment agreement for solar modules production project based on state-of-the-art thin film solar cell technology (thin film technology). After the signing ceremony, Anatoly Chubais, CEO of RUSNANO, and Viktor Vekselberg, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of RENOVA Group, will hold a joint briefing.
Later in the day, the meeting will take place for EU-Russia Industrialists' Round Table Council, co-chaired by Anatoly Chubais, CEO of RUSNANO, and Nils Andersen, CEO of A.P. Moller Maersk. Lord Mervyn Davies, UK Minister for Trade and Investment, Antony Hayward, CEO of BP, Catherine Ashton, EU Commissioner for Trade, Andrey Kostin, President of VTB Bank, Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Viktor Vekselberg, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of RENOVA Group, Alexey Mordashov, Director General of Severstal and others will attend the Round Table.
June 5, Anatoly Chubais, CEO of RUSNANO, will participate in an interactive session The Power of Innovation: When will Tomorrow Start? Other speakers of the session include Jean-Phillippe Courtois, President of Microsoft International, Craig Barrett, Intel Chairman, Joerg Reinhardt, CEO of Novartis, Patrick Kron, President and CEO of Alstom, and others. The participants will discuss hi-tech industries development potential, their future position in the world economy, and the role of governments and large global technological corporations in stimulating technological progress.
Following the session, RUSNANO and MICEX Group will sign an Agreement on New Exchange Sector—Investment and Innovation Market. After the signing ceremony, a joint briefing will be held by Anatoly Chubais, CEO of RUSNANO, and Konstantin Korishchenko, President of MICEX.
