Farmingdale State Celebrates Earth Week 2009
Abstract:
In keeping with Farmingdale State College's rich legacy as a leader in pioneering sustainable energy research and fuel cell technology, the College will celebrate Earth Day 2009 with a week's worth of activities.
Tuesday, April 21: In the evening, Artists & Lecturers Programs presents The Promise of Nanoscience - Great expectations of an ultra small-scale world at 6 p.m. The lecture and slideshow is presented by a distinguished guest, Dr. Emilio Mendez, Director of the Center for Functional Nanomaterials at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory.
