TRI/Princeton to offer Porous Materials Course in Atlanta immediately following World of Wipes Conference 2009 Registration is open, but limited to 25 participants
TRI/Princeton, a global leader in fiber, nonwovens and hair research, is thrilled to announce that it will offer its renowned short course on Porous Materials in Atlanta this summer.
With tightened travel budgets and increased needs for smarter training options in mind, TRI has repackaged the traditionally three day course and will offer a condensed 1.5 day version in conjunction with INDA's World of Wipes (WOW) event.
On June 24-25, 2009, Dr. Gerardo Callegari and Dr. Ilya Tyomkin will teach "Essentials of Porous Materials: Wetting, Penetration and Flow", a course built for those developing wipes, non-woven delivery systems, absorbent products and filters, and an excellent grounding in the fundamentals that drive the performance of porous materials. This intensive 1.5 day course will offer the Basics of Wettability and Pore Structure Characterization. And, since we're holding it following WOW 2009, we've included several applications and examples that are relevant to the wipes industry.
Since 1997, TRI's Professional Education Program has been successfully offering short courses and workshops relevant to the industries we serve, and we've offered them at our facilities in Princeton, NJ. Due to the demands of the economy and tightened travel budgets across the world, we're packing up our courses and taking them on the road. The first stop on our road trip will be INDA's World of Wipes Conference 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. We'll conduct "Essentials of Porous Materials" immediately following the WOW Conference right in the same hotel. In fact, we're even offering a discount of $300 off the list price of TRI's course for people that register for both the WOW conference and the TRI course.
