Abstract:
The United States National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has published the final version of its report "Approaches to Safe Nanotechnology: Managing the Health and Safety Concerns Associated with Engineered Nanomaterials." This updated document reviews current information on the toxicity of nanoparticles, process emissions and exposure assessment, engineering controls, and personal protective equipment.
