Abstract:
On March 18 a delegation of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) headed by CEO Anatoly Chubais has arrived at Israel.
Israel is one of the Corporation's main partners abroad. The country is rapidly gaining ground versus the chief players in the nanotechnology market, such as the USA, Germany, South Korea and Taiwan. According to key indicators, such as the number of nano-technological publications and patents, the number of universities, Israel can be considered one of the most advanced countries.
In the course of the trip the RUSNANO delegation will have a number of meetings with the leaders of Israeli venture funds and top companies in the field of nanotechnologies, including ELRON, SELA, MCL, and Telco Systems. Some of them have already applied for partnership with RUSNANO and their offers are being appraised by Corporation.
Anatoly Chubais will hold meetings with Israeli President Shimon Peres and elected premier-minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Corporate management will hold a working meeting with the Chief scientist of the Ministry for Industry, Trade and Labor of Israel Elie Opper, who is responsible for the development of industrial research and developments in the country.
The program also includes a reception at the residence of Russian Ambassador to Israel Peter Stegny, which will see the participation of the chief representatives of Israel's political and business communities.
