Arkema appoints Hubron as UK distributor for its multiwall carbon nanotubes

France | Posted on March 13th, 2009

In 2006, Arkema inaugurated Europe's first plant capable of producing some 20 tonnes per year of multiwall carbon nanotubes, and has built a broad product portfolio for the polymer industry to include the elastomeric, thermoplastic, thermosetting, coating and adhesive sectors.

Hubron will offer the full Graphistrength® product range from its UK warehouses. The range currently includes the pure Graphistrength® products, and the extended range of masterbatches designed to ease incorporation into a whole range of elastomers, thermoplastics, resins and waterborne applications.

Commenting on the recent appointment, Jean-Marc Corpart, Graphistrength® Global Business Manager, said: "We are delighted to formalise our arrangements with Hubron, who have worked very closely with us over the last 2 years as we have brought products to the market. We are set to see real growth with these commercially exciting new products."

Full details on the Graphistrength® range can be viewed on the dedicated Arkema website www.graphistrength.com

Hubron Speciality Limited works closely with other Arkema business units and distributes the Luperox® crosslinking organic peroxides, Vultac® nitrosamine-free sulphur donor vulcanising resins, and the Ekaland® and Mixland +® rubber chemicals.
