Home > Press > Cambridge NanoTech Adds Key Japanese Distribution Partner: Hightec Systems to sell and service industry-leading ALD systems in Japan
Abstract:
Cambridge NanoTech, world leader in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) science and equipment for research and industry, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Hightec Systems Corporation of Yokohama, Japan to sell and service its full line of ALD equipment in Japan. Cambridge NanoTech currently has several ALD systems installed at leading universities, research centers and corporations across Japan. Through its partnership with Hightec Systems, Cambridge NanoTech is now even better positioned to expand its presence in key Japanese markets.
"Cambridge NanoTech is pleased to partner with Hightec Systems and its highly skilled team," said Ray Ritter, chief operations officer for Cambridge NanoTech. "We see tremendous growth opportunities for ALD systems in Japan, particularly in semiconductor memory, flat panel displays, solar panels and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). With extensive experience and excellent customer relationships within all of these markets, Hightec Systems is a natural fit as Cambridge NanoTech's Japanese distribution partner."
"Cambridge NanoTech is well known in Japan for its ALD expertise and outstanding customer and technical support," said Sekiguchi Nobuyuki, general manager of the Semiconductor Division at Hightec Systems. "We are confident that together Cambridge NanoTech and Hightec Systems can advance ALD in Japan by working closely with leading researchers and collaborating to satisfy future production needs."
