Home > Press > Cambridge NanoTech Expands Management Team: Promotes Vice Presidents of Technology and Engineering
Abstract:
Cambridge NanoTech, world leader in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) science and equipment for research and industry, today announced that it has expanded its leadership team with the promotion of Dr. Ganesh Sundaram to Vice President of Technology and Roger Coutu to Vice President of Engineering. Both Dr. Sundaram and Mr. Coutu have been with Cambridge NanoTech since 2007.
In his expanded role Dr. Sundaram will manage ALD applications and technology development. Dr. Sundaram previously held positions at Veeco Instruments, Schlumberger Technologies, Micrion Corporation, and Texas Instruments. Dr. Sundaram received his Ph.D in Physics from Oxford University, where he specialized in low temperature, high magnetic field physics of low dimensional semiconductors. His industrial experience encompasses processing of silicon and compound semiconductors, lithography, particle beam technology, metrology, and thin film applications.
Mr. Coutu will continue to lead the development of new, innovative and affordable ALD systems. He will manage the engineering team as Cambridge NanoTech continues to develop research and production ALD solutions for emerging markets. Roger has spent the previous six years consulting with companies in the semiconductor, automation, materials and vacuum-handling industries. Prior to consulting, Roger held numerous engineering management positions at MKS, Eaton, Millipore, and Bruce Technology International. Roger has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
"The addition of Ganesh and Roger has been instrumental in our rapid growth over the past two years," said Dr. Jill Becker, Founder of Cambridge NanoTech. "In their new roles of leading our scientific and engineering developments, Ganesh and Roger will continue our tradition of delivering innovative ALD solutions and systems that satisfy the needs of our growing customer base."
