Abstract:
Moscow will hold an international forum devoted to nanotechnology on December 3-5, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said on Monday.
The forum is expected to feature round table meetings, plenary sessions, press conferences and seminars involving leaders from the global nanotechnology industry.
Leading experts from Austria, the U.K., Finland, and the U.S., as well as the Asian nations of South Korea, Japan and China are due to take part in the event.
"The main goal is the applied use of nano products and technology in different areas - industry, business as well as everyday life," Ivanov said.
The forum steering committee is scheduled to hold its first session this week, Ivanov said, adding that the forum preparations would start shortly after the meeting.
"We want this forum to be held on an annual basis in Moscow," Ivanov added.
