Home > Press > Ecology Coatings Appoints New Chief Executive Officer
Abstract:
Ecology
Coatings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ECOC), a leader in the discovery and development of nanotechnology-enabled, ultra-violet curable advanced materials, today announced that it appointed Robert G. Crockett as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Crockett replaces Richard D. Stromback, who
will remain Chairman of the Board.
"Bob has a record of bridging unmet market needs with technology-based
products," said Ecology Coatings' Chairman, Richard D. Stromback. "His more
than 20 years of experience in successfully taking new technology to
diverse markets and achieving significant new business growth with
companies such as LDM Technologies, one of the largest privately-held,
plastic-based automotive suppliers in North America, adds significant depth
to our management team. His extensive background in analyzing markets,
building tactical sales initiatives, and executing leadership positioning
strategies is particularly important, as we accelerate the
commercialization of our clean technology UV-cured coatings."
Before joining Ecology Coatings, Crockett held the position of
President, Exterior Painted Products Business, and Vice President of Sales
for Michigan-based Plastech Engineered Products, formerly LDM Technologies.
Prior to his role at LDM Technologies, he served as Vice President of Sales
for the Becker Group Inc., and Director of Program Management for Textron
Automotive.
"This is an opportune time to be joining Ecology Coatings," said
Crockett. "I'm excited about Ecology Coatings' technology, which presents a
unique value proposition in both performance and cost savings, which
provides significant opportunities within the company's target markets. I
look forward to working closely with Ecology's management team as we
commercialize the company's line of clean technology UV-cured coatings and
bring new products to expanding markets."
Crockett holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from
Central Michigan University and engineering course study at Wayne State
University.
