Abstract:
Company continues solid global growth as Mexico provides strong markets for DFI's patented nano-coating system; license agreements signed with GRUPO TECNO, Vidrios BISEL and CMEX.
Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced today its continued global growth with the signing of three (3) additional license agreements in Mexico, one of DFI's key global markets.
Mexico currently represents the world's 13th largest economy and is firmly established as an advanced middle-income country, has the highest income per capita in Latin America and is also the only Latin American member of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
GRUPO TECNO, a 17-year privately-held industrial group based in Mexico City, is formed by a conglomerate of companies in the glass industry; its flagship company TECNOVIDRIO is one of Mexico's leading glass processors in the Architectural glass sector with a solid track record of innovative technology and a wide range of glass products. GRUPO TECNO offers complete glass solutions, from design to complete manufacturing capabilities in tempered, laminated and insulated glass.
Vidrio Bisel, a 20-year company based in Monterrey, has been positioning its footprint in the northeast of Mexico as a leading company in the Architectural and Furniture glass processing sectors, with an increasing annual output in all glass products, with full tempering capabilities.
CMEX ("Cristaleria Mexico"), based in Puebla, counts with over 50 years in business and full fabrication capabilities in tempered glass, laminated, along with aluminum and PVC for both residential and commercial markets. CMEX has coverage throughout the eastern and central region of Mexico.
All three companies DFI licensed to apply the patented Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating were granted certain regional licensing protection.
Alejandro Alvarez, Regional Sales Director of DFI Mexico & Central America, operated in Mexico City, explained: "The licensing of these three companies in Mexico marks an important step toward a national coverage and distribution outlets of our nano-coating surface treatment within the Mexican territory."
Guillermo Seta, Executive Director of DFI Global Operations, added: "Mexico represents a key market within our global approach, and compliments our overall partnership expansion strategy. We are pleased and honored to be working with such reputable and well-positioned companies."
