Abstract:
The First International Competition of Scientific Papers in Nanotechnology for Young Researchers to be held within the framework of the Nanotechnology International Forum RusNanoTech'2008, lead by the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies on December 3-5, 2008 in the International Exhibition Center of Moscow - "The Expocenter".
Objective of the competition is to attract attention of scientific and business communities to achievements of young researchers in nanotechnology area.
Russian and international MSc and PhD students as well as researchers under 30 years old inclusively (born in 1978 and later) are welcome to participate in the competition. Contents of scientific papers submitted to the competition have to comply with topics of the Forum's sections (for full information please visit the www.rusnanoforum.com).
Scientific papers should be processed as A1 posters (594x840 mm), which to be placed on the Forum as stand reports. The competition participants will have to attend the Forum personally and give presentation of their reports to special Commissions, formed by the Forum's Program Committee and Chairmen of the sections. The Commissions will examine stand reports to select three best papers in each section.
Winners of the competition will be announced on a plenary session of the Forum on December 5-th, 2008. Authors of the best papers together with their scientific advisors will be awarded with honorable Forum's Diploma. The competition winners in each section will be also awarded with prize money:
* 1-st place - 50000 Rub.;
* 2-nd place - 40000 Rub.;
* 3-d place - 30000 Rub.
