NaturalNano Announces First Commercial Order from Cascade Engineering

ROCHESTER, NY | Posted on July 28th, 2008

NaturalNano, Inc. (OTCBB: NNAN) (FWB: N3N), a developer of advanced nanomaterials, today announced that Noble Polymers, a division of Cascade Engineering, has purchased the Company's innovative HNT material to be used to produce ten tons of its nanocomposite, Pleximer™. Cascade Engineering is a multi-business manufacturer, marketing to a variety of industries such as automotive, commercial truck and bus, solid waste and recycling, furniture and renewable energy, including the estimated $40 billion polymer composites industry.

Tim Patterson, General Manager of Noble Polymers said: "Our joint development effort with NaturalNano has resulted in a product that is stronger, lighter and less expensive and will enable Cascade to offer a superior molded product first in office furniture products and then in other markets and applications. Our joint work with NaturalNano over the past year has given us additional insight into the scope of both their technological processes and development expertise, and we are pleased to be an early adopter in bringing this innovation to our products and customers."

"This sale is a major milestone in the product development process we began with Cascade more than a year ago," said Cathy Fleischer, President of NaturalNano. "By utilizing Pleximer's unique characteristics in surface quality, durability enhancement and weight reduction in concert with Cascade's leading compounding and molding capabilities, we expect to directly impact the performance of a wide variety of industrial and consumer products."

NaturalNano noted the current shipment represents the initial manufacturing-scale sale of Pleximer to Cascade Engineering. The Company expects to continue to provide material as the two companies work to jointly develop accreditation testing, application definitions and formula optimization that will be used to produce Pleximer-based products.
