Nanofilm, the Valley View, Ohio-based nanotechnology company, has been featured for a second time on 21st Century Business, hosted by General Alexander Haig. The complete Nanofilm segment, which is an overview of the company‚s capabilities, can be viewed at www.nanofilmtechnology.com. The feature appeared as paid programming on CNBC on April 27, 2008. The company was previously featured on programming that aired on April 5-6, 2008, on Fox Business Network.

Nanotechnology has taken manufacturing of products, for both business and the individual consumer, to the next level of production and research for the Global Marketplace. With the technology and expertise necessary, Nanofilm is providing added performance characteristics through nanotechnology.

"Seldom does a week go by without a call from a company asking to partner with Nanofilm to improve their products with nanotechnology," said Dr. Scott Rickert, President and CEO. "Anywhere we can help improve performance, save energy, reduce costs, streamline manufacturing - that's where we‚re going to go."

Nanofilm's coatings can be applied plastics, glass, metal, textiles, concrete, wood and paper. A Nanofilm thousands of times thinner than a human hair can give products soil, chemical, moisture and abrasion resistance, non-stick and non-staining properties, even electrical conductivity and energy-controlling properties. The technology has application in precision optics, automotive and architectural widows, electronic displays, bakeware, packaging and other products.

About Nanofilm
Founded in 1985, Nanofilm develops proprietary films and partners with companies to formulate custom coatings or reformulate existing coatings to add new properties. The technology portfolio solves problems requiring optically clear, thin coating, self-assembling nano-layers and nanocomposites. Nanofilm can give plastics, glass, metal, textiles, concrete and even wood new properties, such as soil and chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, non-stick and non-staining properties, energy-controlling characteristics and electrical conductivity. Nanofilm products are distributed in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Dr. Scott Rickert, Nanofilm President and CEO, is a noted conference speaker on nanotechnology innovation, co-development and entrepreneurship, governmental relations and environmental health and safety issues. He most recently has spoken at CoDev 2008 and NanoBusiness2008. He also writes a monthly nanotechnology column for IndustryWeek.
