Abstract:
"Prospects: From Ideal to Real," the 5th annual Berkeley Nanotechnology Forum. The forum brings together hundreds of attendees from the Bay Area's top universities, national laboratories and research institutions, as well as businesspeople from industry, to hear about research and development priorities and to discuss some of the social, economic and political implications of nanotechnology.
This year's theme represents nanotechnology's transition from laboratory experiments and theory to real products and widely accepted technological advances.
WHEN
8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Sunday, April 27
WHERE
The Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Registration is at the business school's Bank of America Forum in the Barbara and Gerson Bakar Faculty Building.
