Ecology Coatings, Inc. (OTCBB: ECOC), a leader in the discovery and development of ultra-violet curable, clean-technology advanced materials, today announced that Sally Ramsey, the company's founder and Vice President of New Product Development, was recognized by Hiram College with the J.J. Turner Award at the 20th annual J.J. Turner Society meeting and induction. Upon accepting the award, Ms. Ramsey gave a talk titled "Adventures in Nanotechnology."

The J.J. Turner Society is named in honor of J. Jesse Turner, Professor of Biology, 1904-1950. Professor Turner helped establish the national reputation of Hiram College for excellence in the sciences. Membership in the Turner Society is granted to all graduates of Hiram College who majored or minored in biology, biochemistry, biomedical humanities or neuroscience, or to graduates who have gone on to advanced study and/or careers in the biological sciences and medicine.

Ms. Ramsey holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry with departmental honors from Hiram College, located in Hiram, Ohio. She began her research in nano-engineered, ultra-violet curable, 100 percent solids coatings in 1990. Her breakthroughs in this research have earned her industry groups recognition as a pioneer and leader in the coatings industry.

Ms. Ramsey comes from a family of renowned chemists. In addition to her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Hiram College, she is a graduate of the prestigious Bronx School of Science and has attended graduate chemistry studies at Iowa State University.
