Nanosys Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification

PALO ALTO, CA | Posted on March 13th, 2008

ISO 9001:2000 is recognized worldwide as the comprehensive international standard that defines quality management systems that assure the ability to satisfy quality requirements, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet applicable regulatory standards. It provides for independent auditing to ensure both compliance and continuous improvement initiatives in all aspects of the organization.

Nanosys initiated the ISO 9001 registration as part of its continuing corporate quality program. To earn certification, Nanosys underwent a rigorous audit of all of its processes related to the quality of products and services delivered to its customers.

"Achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification underscores our commitment to satisfy customers' requirements by adhering to practices that ensure delivery of products that provide high value and consistent performance and reliability," said Calvin Chow, Nanosys' Chief Executive Officer. "We will use this as a foundation to continuously improve the quality of our products and to ensure the satisfaction of our customers."
