Abstract:
The nation's best regional 'small tech' conference, co-hosted by the Washington Technology Center and Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI) will be back for a fifth year after last year's wildly successful event. You are invited to participate!
When & where: September 8-10, 2008, Vancouver, Washington.
Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts to the Fifth Annual Micro Nano Breakthrough Conference. Abstracts (300 word maximum) must be submitted no later than Monday, March 17, 2008. Approximately 30 presentation/panelist presentations and 30 posters (on display throughout the conference and at a special 2 hour reception) will be included in the program.
You will be notified no later than Friday, May 16, 2008. If your abstract is accepted, the abstract will be distributed to all conference attendees and posted on the conference website. You will also be required to electronically submit a final abstract and short bio for the conference program, and to prepare/submit PowerPoint or poster presentation materials in accordance with conference specifications.

# Nanoscale Measurement and Characterization

# Nanomedicine - Therapies and Clinical Applications
Tentative session topics include:
Nanoscale Lithography Symposium, Nanotechnology from Forest Products, Nanophotonics and/or Nanotech for Energy Applications, Nanotechnology EHS, Non-Si Advanced PV materials, Green Nanotechnology, Microscale Chemical and Energy Processes - esp. batteries and micropower, Nanobiotechnology - tools and diagnostics, Polymer Science/Printed Electronics, Nanomedicine - therapeutics and devices, Panel : CTO Forum - what researchers need to know about commercialization; half-day short courses on Nano 101 (basics) - including education programs, public R&anp;D resources and Commercialization-tech transfer and/or maybe Green Nano special session.
