Heir Apparent to open GOIC conference on nanotechnology
Abstract:
The Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will open a two-day conference on knowledge-based industries and nanotechnology here on February 11.
The event is being organised by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in cooperation with The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF), Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO), and the Qatar Petroleum (QP).
The conference aims at preparing a strategic plan for Knowledge-based Industries (KBI) in GCC member states to discover potential knowledge-based industries' technologies in the region, specially biotechnology and nanotechnology.
