Stake a claim for your bright idea
Abstract:
Entrepreneurs in Norfolk with innovative business ideas will have access to £1.5m of funding this year to help test the commercial potential of their products.
The East of England Development Agency (EEDA) is to run its Proof of Concept fund in 2008, having supported 60 businesses with more than £1.2m last year.
Ed Bowie, access to finance manager at the agency, said: "2007 was another fantastic year for innovation in our region.
"The Proof of Concept fund supported everything from nanotechnology to illuminating canes for the visually impaired.
