MTI has developed proprietary methods of manufacturing nanoparticle dispersion products which result in improved performance characteristics in a variety of applications. Because the products are solvent-free they are environmentally friendly, a quality that is of increasing interest within the industry.

"AMTI is positioned at the forefront of a changing marketplace for energy curable inks and coatings. Utilizing the assistance and resources of JumpStart will enable us to take advantage of this technology lead," stated Byron Hahn, Chief Operations Officer of AMTI.

Marc Insul, JumpStart Entrepreneur-in-Residence will be working closely with the company and providing business advisory services.

This is JumpStart's 36th investment in 26 companies. Other advanced materials and technology companies in JumpStart's portfolio include Aria Analytics, FLX Micro, RSP Tooling, and Stanton Advanced Ceramics.
