IIT-K researchers awarded at Indian Science Congress
Abstract:
Two young researchers from the Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) were awarded the prestigious Young Scientist Award for 2007-08 during the 95th Indian Science Congress (ISCA) held at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
J Ramkumar, Assistant Professor at Manufacturing Sciences Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the institute, alongwith Pradip Paik of Advanced Nano Engineering Materials Laboratory was presented the award in the Material Sciences category.
Director of the institute, Sanjay G Dhande, said: "It was a proud moment for the IITians and also a source of inspiration for young students."
