Nanogovernance 2008 Conference - Innovative Approaches to Nanotechnology Environmental Governance

Conference: This unique conference is divided into two sessions. The morning session features several speakers on prominent issues surrounding the environmental regulation and governance of nanotechnology. The afternoon session is a panel discussion with audience participation focusing on the issue of whether it is possible or desirable to merge existing approaches to create a comprehensive environmental governance regime for nanotechnology.

Participate: Presubmit questions and/or comments and participate in a stakeholder nanotechnology environmental governance discussion including representatives from EPA, DuPont, ISO, Meridian Institute, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. House of Representatives, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Environmental Defense, The George Washington University, NanoBusiness Alliance, and the Environmental Law Institute.

Question Presented for Discussion: Is it possible or desirable to merge existing approaches to create a comprehensive environmental governance regime for nanotechnology? If so, how?
