Let's Get Small
Abstract:
Precision Combustion of North Haven and Anchor Science, based in Branford, are among five Connecticut companies participating in the new Connecticut Nanotechnology Fellowship Bridge program. Sponsored by the state's Office of Workforce Competitiveness and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology Inc., the program creates collaborations between research universities and small businesses interested in nanotechnology. Through grants ranging from $25,000 to $55,000 to participating educational institutions the University of Connecticut and Yale, graduate and post-doctoral students work on faculty-led nanotechnology research activities via team projects with participating companies.
