Funding goes to developer of soil cleaner
Abstract:
A startup company specializing in environmental cleanup is among eight Pennsylvania firms receiving loans to jumpstart their fledgling businesses.
Lehigh Nanotech LLC will receive $150,000 to increase production of a patented product that cleans contaminated groundwater and soil, according to the latest round of funding announced Wednesday by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Lehigh Nanotech's liquid product, named NanoFe, is made of tiny particles. It is designed to provide better, quicker and more cost-effective cleanup than traditional remediation technologies.
