Better technology to combat ageing

Abstract:
A study on hormones showed that we age because the hormone production is declining

Take a break from using wrinkle-free creams and lotions. How about trying stem cell therapy, gene therapy or nanotechnology to look and feel younger for a change?

"These advances in modern medical technology may sound futuristic. But they are here now, and will change the way you think about medicine," said Dr Ali Mohamed, speaker at a meet organised by A4M in the city. American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), a US-based NGO dedicated to the advancement of technology and research in preventing, detecting and treating age-related diseases, launched its Indian chapter on Sunday.
