Korean Researchers Developed Nanocomplex for Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
Abstract:
The Korean researchers developed multi-functional nanocomplex, which prevent the growth of cancer cell and destroy cancer cell, while enabling the video tracking, for the first time in Korea.
Professor Seung-ju Ham of Chemical Engineering, Professor Jin-seok Seo and Yong-min Huh of Medical School Radiology, Yonsei University, announced that they developed the multi-functional nanocomplex by combining the antibody and the anti-cancer medicine with magnetic nanomaterials. The Yonsei University confirmed the effect of the complex in preventing cancer cell from growing in the animal test.
