Government invests €87m in knowledge economy
Abstract:
13.11.2007 - Keen to bring together cutting-edge research projects and willing industry partners, Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) today chose 13 major areas of research ranging from e-health to nanotechnology which will be funded over the next 60 months.
In the largest funding given to date by SFI, €87m will be awarded to research projects under the Centres for Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET) and Strategic Research Clusters (SRC) programmes.
