Abstract:
AlwaysReady, Inc., a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: XDSL), today said that it has received the Environment/Energy Innovation Award from the New Jersey Technical Council for the development of its environmentally friendly smart nano battery technology. The New Jersey Technology Council is a non-profit membership organization that provides business support, networking opportunities, information, advocacy and recognition of technology companies and their leaders while advancing New Jersey's status as a leading technology center in the United States. The award was presented at the NJTC Technology Trends/Innovation Expo on Thursday, October 25 and was received by AlwaysReady CEO, Fred Allen.
The Smart Nanobattery design offers a revolutionary approach to energy storage and power management. Its unique architecture enables key features including a shelf life of decades, remote activation, scalable manufacturing, multiple configurations, and programmable power management capabilities.
CEO Fred Allen said, "In developing a revolutionary Power On Command™ Smart Nanobattery, we are bringing nanotechnology out of the laboratory and into the marketplace. We are honored to be recognized by the NJ Technical Council, and this strengthens our standing as a nanotechnology leader."
It is anticipated that the initial applications for nano power cells will address the need to supply emergency and reserve power "on command" to a broad range of products for the defense department, with future applications in the commercial and consumer arenas.
